The Southside cocktail meets Japan in this delicious herbal and floral cocktail. Originally from Bar Goto @bargoto_nyc in New York City, the Far East Side relies on shiso in place of mint. As a sake based cocktail it is also on the lower abv side, and pairs beautifully with food. (Bar Goto’s kombu celery is elite)
2 oz sake
¾ oz elderflower liqueur
5 oz tequila
25 oz lemon juice
2 shiso leaves, plus 1 for garnish
步骤
add all ingredients into a mixing glass. Gently muddle the shiso, then add ice and stir until cold. Pour into a coupe glass and garnish with a shiso leaf.
