Elderberry Syrup

Elderberry Syrup Recipe:

6 cups Water

2 cups Dried Elderberries

2 Cinnamon Sticks

A few slivers of Ginger Root 🫚

1 whole Clove or some ground cloves

1/2 cup dried hibiscus flowers🌺

1 sliced lemon 🍋

1 sliced orange 🍊

1 star anise

1 ½ cups Local Raw Honey 🍯

步骤

Place everything EXCEPT the Honey in a sauce pan, and bring to a boil.

Once it’s boiling, reduce the heat down to low, and let simmer for an hour.

When it’s done simmering, use a super fine strainer to squish the berries (make sure all the juice is strained).

Once drained, make sure it’s not too hot, and add in the Honey, and mix together.

DO NOT HEAT THE HONEY - heating up the honey too much can strip nutrients out.

Store in a jar or glass container like these @official_molimoli jars, and keep in the fridge.
