Baked Lemon Pepper Wings with Hot Honey and Honey Mustard Sa

2 lbs chicken wings

Avocado oil to lightly coat your wings

Salt to generously season (if your lemon pepper seasoning is salt-free)

2 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning (I used @frontiercoop)

Zest of 1 lemon

Hot honey sauce:

1 cup honey

2-3 tbsp hot sauce (I used @franksredhot)

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

1/2 tsp chili flakes

Honey Mustard:

1/2 cup dijon mustard

3 tbsp honey

Water to thin

Preheat your oven to 400

Pat your chicken wings dry and then toss with just enough avocado oil to lightly coat them

Season generously with salt (if your lemon pepper seasoning is salt-free) and a few grinds of pepper

Arrange your wings on a baking sheet (or two - you want to give the wings room) and bake in your preheated oven for 40-50 minutes until the skin is crispy, flipping halfway through

If you prefer your skin extra crispy, place the wings skin-side up and broil for 2 minutes

While your wings are baking make your sauces

Add your honey, apple cider vinegar, hot sauce, and chili flakes to a small sauce pot and heat over low heat, stirring to combine

Remove from heat and pout into your serving dish

Combine your dijon mustard and 3 tbsp honey in a small dish and stir, adding enough water to thin the sauce to your desired consistency, then pour into your serving dish

While the wings are still warm, toss them with the zest of 1 lemon and your lemon pepper seasoning (the wings should be thoroughly coated so adjust your seasoning as needed)

Plate your wings on a serving platter along with your sauces, serve, and ENJOY!
