Chinese Lemon Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:�500g chicken breast, diced

1 egg, whisked (optional, can omit)�1⁄4 cup cornflour�Lemon zest�Salt & pepper�1-2 tbsp olive oil, for cooking�2 cups cooked rice, to serve

Sauce:�⅓ cup lemon juice�2 tbsp honey

2 tbsp granulated brown sweetener�1-2 tsp garlic, minced�1/4 cups soy sauce�1⁄2 cup chicken stock�1 tbsp cornflour

步骤

Combine the egg, corn flour, lemon zest, salt and pepper in a bowl. Add the chicken and mix to coat. Cook in the air-fryer or fry pan with olive oil until golden.

Mix the lemon juice, honey, sweetener garlic, soy sauce and stock together in a bowl. Pour into a pan and bring to the boil.

Combine the cornflour with ¼ cup of water until dissolved then add to the sauce, mix well and simmer until thickened.

Add the cooked chicken and coat in the sticky lemon sauce.

Serve with steamed rice, green vegetables and garnish with sesame seeds.
