Angel Strawberry Bavarian

1 package angel food cake mix

(1) 10-ounce bag frozen strawberries sliced

1 package strawberry jello

1 cup boiling water

2-1/2 cups chilled whipping cream

2-1/2 tablespoons powdered sugar

3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Fresh strawberries for garnish

Preheat oven to 375

Prepare, bake and cool angel food cake

Cut cooled cake into 1-inch cubes

Drain strawberries; reserve juice

Combine gelatin and water; stir into dissolved

Add 1 cup of reserved strawberry juice

Refrigerate until slightly thickened; beat until foamy

Beat 1 cup whipping cream until stiff peaks form

Fold strawberries and whipped cream into gelatin

Alternate layers of cake cubes and strawberry in 10" tube pan

Cover and refrigerate overnight

Beat remaining whipping cream, sugar and vanilla

Frost sides of unmolded cake

Garnish with strawberries; keep cool
