2 cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded

2 large Eggs

1 cup Milk (or Buttermilk for extra tang)

1/3 cup Unsalted Butter, melted and cooled

1- Preheat your oven to 350 F (175 C) and grease a standard 9x5 inch loaf pan with butter or cooking spray.

2- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and dried herbs.

3- Stir the shredded cheddar cheese into the flour mixture, ensuring the cheese strands are coated with flour (this prevents them from sinking).

4- In a separate medium bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, and melted butter until well combined.

5- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir gently with a spatula or wooden spoon just until combined. Do not overmix; the batter should look lumpy.

6- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.

7- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with just a few moist crumbs.

8- Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
