Asian Shrimp Burger

Asian Shrimp Burger🦐

1 pound Wild Caught Shrimp, Peeled & Deveined

1 tbsp Ginger, Minced

1 tbsp Garlic Minced

1 tsp Thai Chili Powder

1/4 cup Chopped Scallion

2 tsp Kosher Salt

1 tsp White Pepper

1/2-3/4 cup Panko Breadcrumbs

1 Egg

Avocado Oil, As Needed

2 Buns

Add shrimp to a food processor and roughly chop until a little paste forms and you still have some nice chunks of shrimp. Remove from the processor and add to a mixing bowl with the remaining ingredients.

Mix well, shape into burger patties, and place on a baking tray in the refrigerator for 15 minutes to set up.

Add avocado oil to a pan over medium heat, and sear shrimp burgers on each side for 1 minute until caramelized.

Add 1/4 cup water to the pan, place a lid on, and steam shrimp burgers for 2 minutes, flip, and repeat until the shrimp are fully cooked!

Pile these beauties on your toasted bun with lots of spicy ponzu mayo & peach slaw! Enjoy y’all!✌️

Spicy Ponzu Mayo🌶️ 🍋

1/2 cup Kewpie Mayo

2 tbsp Ponzu Sauce

2 tbsp Sriracha

Mix together until smooth! Reserve for the burgers!

Sesame Peach Slaw🍑

1 cup Red Cabbage, Finely Shredded

1 cup Green Cabbage, Finely Shredded

1 cup Sweet Summer Peaches, Sliced

1/2 cup Chopped Cilantro

Zest & Juice 1 Lime

2 tbsp Rice Vinegar

2 tbsp Toasted Sesame Seeds

1/4 cup Honey

Pinch of Salt & Pepp

Mix together all ingredients, and season to taste!
