Baby Meal Prep for 8+ Months! (Save this for your weekly meal prep)

1. Strawberry Banana Pancakes

1 small ripe banana, mashed

2 strawberries, finely chopped

1 small egg

1/4 cup oat flour (or regular flour)

Unsalted butter or coconut oil for cooking

Mash banana, mix in egg and flour, then fold in strawberries. Heat a pan with unsalted butter or coconut oil and cook small pancakes on medium heat until golden, about 2–3 min per side.

Apple Peach Oat Purée

2 apples, peeled, cored, chopped

2 peaches, peeled, chopped

1/4 cup oats

1/2–3/4 cup water, breastmilk, or formula

Instructions:

Steam apples and peaches until soft (about 6–8 minutes). Cook oats separately in water until very soft. Blend fruit and oats together until smooth, adding liquid as needed. Yields about four 4oz pouches.

Sweet Potato Crackers with Cheese

1/2 cup mashed sweet potato (steamed)

1/2 cup grated pasteurized cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or parmesan; low-sodium)

1 cup flour (all-purpose, whole wheat, or oat flour)

3 tbsp unsalted butter or olive oil

Instructions:

Mix all ingredients into a soft dough. Roll out thin and cut into small shapes. Bake at 350°F for 12–15 minutes until lightly golden. Cool completely before serving.

Cheese is safe for babies 8+ months if pasteurized, low-sodium, and served in small amounts.)

Creamy Broccoli & Peas Pasta

1/2 cup small pasta (mini wheat elbows or shellbows)

3 broccoli florets

1/4 cup peas

2 tbsp cream cheese (pasteurized, full-fat, low-sodium)

1/4 cup low-sodium chicken broth

Instructions:

Cook pasta and peas in boiling water until tender. Steam broccoli until soft. Blend broccoli with cream cheese and chicken broth into a smooth sauce. Toss pasta and peas in the sauce and serve warm.

Note:

Always consult your pediatrician before introducing new foods. These recipes are for babies 8+ months who have started solids. Cheese is safe if pasteurized, low-sodium, and offered in moderation. Avoid added salt and sugar. Adjust textures to your baby’s ability and supervise during eating.
