Maple Sticks

2 T yeast in 1/2 cup warm water

1 1/4 Cup scalded milk, cooled

1/2 cup sugar

3 T butter

1 egg

1/4 tsp. salt

4 1/2 cups flour

2 cups brown sugar

1 cup cream

2 T butter

Pinch of salt

1 tsp. maple flavoring or 1-2 tsp. Mapleine

Hướng dẫn

Mix like bread dough. Let rise. Roll out on board and cut into maple sticks. Cook in 370 fat or oil.

Cook brown sugar and cream to soft ball stage. Add butter and flavoring. Let set until slightly warm. Beat and frost.
