Cheesy Philly Steak Tortellini Casserole

1 lb (450 g) shaved beef steak or thinly sliced sirloin

1 tbsp olive oil

1 green bell pepper, sliced

1 small onion, sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups beef broth

1 package (20 oz) refrigerated cheese tortellini

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

1/2 cup sour cream

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp garlic powder

2 cups shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Fresh parsley (optional for garnish)

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add shaved steak and cook until browned, about 5–6 minutes. Remove and set aside.

In the same skillet, add sliced onions and bell peppers. Sauté for 4–5 minutes until tender. Add garlic and cook for 1 more minute.

Return the steak to the skillet. Stir in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Let simmer for 3–4 minutes.

Reduce heat to low and mix in cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, garlic powder, and pepper until smooth and creamy.

Add uncooked tortellini and stir well to coat evenly.

Transfer the entire mixture to the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with shredded cheese and Parmesan on top.

Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 10–15 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Let sit for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Serving suggestion: Serve with a crisp salad or garlic bread for the full cheesesteak experience.

Storage tip: Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat gently with a splash of broth or milk.
