Blueberry-Lime Torte

Meringue shell
2 egg whites
1 egg
1/2 cup sugar
2/3 cup water
1/3 cup lime juice
1 envelope unflavored jello
1 tablespoon grated lime rinds
4 egg whites
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups blueberries
วิธีทำ
Beat egg whites and egg until foamy
Mix 1/2 cup sugar, water, lime juice, and gelatin in 2-quart saucepan
Heat to boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly
Gradually stir at least half the hot mixture into egg mixture
Stir back into into hot mixture in saucepan
Heat to boiling; remove from heat
Stir in lime peel
Place pan in bowl of ice water, or refrigerate about 15 minutes
Stir occasionally, til mixture mounds when dropped from spoon
Stir 4 egg whites and cream of tarter in bowl til foamy
Beat in 1/2 cup sugar, IT at a time
Continue beating until stiff and glossy
Fold in lime mixture
Place blueberries in shell; spoon lime mixture over
Refrigerate about 3 hours
