Bacon and Onion Batter Bread

10 strips bacon
2-1/4 cups warm water
2 envelopes yeast
2 tablespoons sugar
2 eggs
5 cups flour
1 envelope onion soup mix
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
วิธีทำ
Fry bacon to crisp; drain on paper towel
Crumble; reserve 2T bacon fat
Mix water and yeast
Stir in sugar
Let stand in warm place for 10 minutes, til foamy
Whisk in reserved bacon fat
Combine flour, soup mix, salt and pepper in bowl
Add yeast mixture and beat for 5 minutes, til smooth and glossy
Stir in bacon
Cover bowl and let rise til doubles, about 45 minutes
Lightly grease three loaf pans
Beat batter with wooden spoon and divide equally among pans
Let rise for 30-35 minutes, when dough is 1-1/2" from top of pan
Bake at 375 for 30-35 minutes til golden brown
Remove from pans; store in airtight containers
