Chocolate Cake Roll*

1/2 cup sifted cake flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 squares sweet baking chocolate
4 eggs at room temperature
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
3 tablespoons cold water
Powdered sugar
1 cup whipping cream
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
วิธีทำ
Grease jelly roll pan (15x10) and line with waxed paper
Sift flour, baking powder, and salt
Melt chocolate in small saucepan over hot water
Break eggs in large bowl
Sift 3/4 cup sugar over them
Beat until thick and light
Fold flour mixture and vanilla all at once into egg mixture
Add 2T sugar, soda and water to chocolate
Fold this mixture into egg mixture and pour into pan
Bake 15-20 minutes at 375
While baking, sift powdered sugar over a thin dish towel
When cake is done, loosen sides and turn onto towel
Peel off paper and trim edges
Let cool 5 minutes
Fold edge of towel over cake and roll up
Unroll when cooled
Add ice cream or whipped cream as a filling
