CHOCOLATE SATIN CAKE

Cake:
8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 c. sugar
5 eggs

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
1/2 lb. butter
Glaze:
8 oz. heavy cream, scalded
12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
วิธีทำ
Cake:
Mix cream cheese and sugar, adding eggs one at a time. Beat well for 4 minutes.
Bring sugar and water to boil. Add to shaved chocolate until melted. Add butter slowly; mix well. Add chocolate mixture to cream cheese mixture; mix until smooth.
Butter 9" round pan with 9" circle wax paper (also buttered) in bottom of pan. Pour batter. Bake @ 375° in water bath for approximately 1 hour or until firm. Cool; loosen sides with knife; remove from pan.
Glaze:
Heat heavy cream to boil. Add shaved chocolate stir until smooth. Place cake on rack and coat with glaze.
