Sausage And Cabbage Stir Fry

14 ounces smoked sausage or kielbasa, sliced into rounds
4 cups green cabbage, shredded
2 pieces large carrots, julienned
1 pieces yellow onion, thinly sliced
3 pieces garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoons whole grain or Dijon mustard
1 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoons smoked paprika
0.5 teaspoons black pepper
0.3 teaspoons red pepper flakes (optional)
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
วิธีทำ
Brown the sausage: Heat 2 tablespoonsolive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sausage rounds in a single layer and cook until browned on both sides, about 3–4 minutes total. Remove sausage and set aside, leaving the drippings in the pan.
Sauté onion and carrots: Add the onion and 2 pieces large carrots, julienned to the same pan. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until the carrots are just tender and the onion is softened, about 4–5 minutes
Add garlic: Add 3 pieces garlic cloves, minced and 0.3 teaspoons red pepper flakes (optional) and stir for 30 seconds or until fragrant.
Wilt the cabbage: Add 4 cups green cabbage, shredded to the pan and toss to combine. Cook, stirring frequently, until the cabbage is wilted and just tender, about 4–5 minutes
Make the sauce & combine: In a small bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoons whole grain or Dijon mustard, 1 tablespoons apple cider vinegar, and 1 teaspoons smoked paprika. Return the sausage to the pan, pour the sauce over everything, and toss to coat. Season with 0.5 teaspoons black pepperand cook for 1–2 more minutes until everything is heated through.
Garnish and serve: Remove from heat, sprinkle with 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish), and serve immediately. Great on its own or over rice, egg noodles, or mashed potatoes.
