12 oz tagliatelle pasta
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 lb beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ cup beef broth
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon butter
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Directions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook tagliatelle according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the beef with salt and pepper, then sear for 2–3 minutes per side until just browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Lower heat to medium. In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Stir in the beef broth and heavy cream. Add Italian seasoning and let the sauce simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
Add the Parmesan cheese, stirring until fully melted and smooth.
Return the cooked beef to the skillet, along with the drained tagliatelle. Toss everything together until well coated in the creamy sauce.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired. Add extra Parmesan on top for a cheesy finish.
