Zesty chex mix

The dry:

2 cups rice chex

2 cups corn chex

2 cups cheerios

1 cup peanuts (or sub what chex or another cereal if you want no nuts

1 cup bugels

1 cup pretzel sticks broken in half

The sauce:

8 tbsp butter

4 tbsp Worcestershire

3 tsp seasoning salt

3 tsp heaping garlic

2 tsp heaping onion powder

*optional 1 tsp cayenne pepper if you want spicy*


1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Line a huge sheet with parchment paper and spray with pam.

2. Mix dry upper ingredients in a large bowl.

3. Mix all lower in gredients in a separate small bowl. Make sure its well combined.

4. Pour liquid over the dry and mix. Add everything to your sheet pan and flatten out.

5. Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Once done, pulll pan out and let cool for about 10 minutes before eating or putting into a container.


This is pretty salty. To be less intense, reduce all of the sauce ingredients by half except the butter.
