Vanilla Crinkle Cookies

Ingredients

1 3/4 cups flour

1 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup of room temperature unsalted butter.

1/2 cup sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar

2 room temperature eggs

1 tsp vanilla

1/4 tsp almond extract

Directions

In a small bowl mix flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl or stand mixer, mix unsalted butter, sugar and brown sugar until fluffy.

Next, add in eggs, vanilla and almond extract.

Mix until combined.

To make these green (or any color you’d like) add a few drops of food color.

Slowly add in the flour mixture a little at a time. Stop mixing once all the flour mixture is added and a dough forms.

Use a tablespoon measure and scoop out dough balls. Let the cookie dough chill for at least an hour.

Once chilled, coat each cookie dough ball first in regular sugar and then in powdered sugar.

Bake at 350 degrees for 13 minutes.

Let them cool before transferring to a cooling rack to finish cooling. Enjoy!
