Mediterranean Baked Feta Appetizer – Bold, Briny & Beautiful

Ingredients

1 block (200g) Greek feta cheese

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

¾ cup mixed olives (green, black, kalamata)

2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

1 tsp capers (optional)

1 tsp whole mustard seeds

½ tsp smoked paprika

½ tsp dried oregano

Fresh thyme and/or oregano sprigs, for garnish

Cracked black pepper, to taste

Directions

Preheat & Prep

Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F). Place the feta block in a small baking dish or oven-safe serving bowl.

Add the Flavor Boosters

Surround the feta with halved cherry tomatoes and mixed olives. Sprinkle in the capers if using. Drizzle everything generously with olive oil.

Top & Season

Scatter mustard seeds, paprika, oregano, and black pepper over the feta and veggies. Add a few fresh thyme or oregano sprigs on top.

Bake Until Golden

Bake for 20–25 minutes until the feta is soft and warmed through, and the tomatoes are blistered and juicy. The mustard seeds should pop slightly for added aroma.

Serve with Bread

Serve immediately with crusty baguette slices, warm pita, or flatbread. Spoon over some of the oil and roasted bits—it’s the best part.
