Cheesy Garlic Bread Toast

Ingredients

1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 garlic clove, finely minced

2 tbsp chopped Italian parsley

Pinch of salt

2 slices of keto “white” bread

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions

In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic clove, chopped parsley, and a pinch of salt. Mix until well combined.

Spread the garlic butter evenly over one side of each slice of keto “white” bread.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the buttered bread slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Toast in the preheated oven for 7 minutes.

After toasting, remove the bread from the oven and sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the buttered side of each slice. The Stack then on top of each other.

Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C). Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for an additional 9 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

For a golden-brown crust, turn on the broiler and broil the cheesy garlic bread for 2 minutes, or until the cheese is lightly browned.

Remove the cheesy garlic bread from the oven and let it cool for a minute.
