Steak Roll-Ups

Ingredients

1 lb. round steak

1/2 tsp. salt

1 onion sliced

bacon cut in strips

1/4 cup flour

1 can tomato soup

1/2 soup can water

Directions

Season steak with salt and cut into 2 inch strips. Place a slice of onion and piece of bacon on each piece. Roll them up and fasten ends with toothpicks. Dredge in flour.

Brown on sides in 2 T. fat or fat of 2 strips bacon. Salt and pepper roll-ups. Add 1 can tomato soup and 1/2 can water. Cook at 10 lbs. pressure for 30 minutes. Reduce pressure normally. Remove toothpicks. Serves 3-4.

If you do not have a mirro-matic cooker, you may use a roaster and bake them in theoven for 1 hour or more. You may need to add more water.

Notes

This is an old family favorite. There were never any leftovers, especially when served with mashed potatoes.
