Ghee Lemon Rice

Ingredients

1 cup basmati rice

2 cups water

2 Bay Leaf

Olive oil

Bunch of cilantro

Ghee to taste

Salt to taste

Lemon juice

Directions

First fry the onions in a pot with some oil. Then add rice and fry that for 1-2 minutes.

Add in water, bay leaf and salt. Keep on high heat till it boils.

Once it boils, put it on low heat.

Let it cook for 20 minutes. Do NOT open the lid.

Once fully cooked, then add ghee & cilantro & lemon juice. Stir & serve.

Notes

You can open the lid for 30 seconds just to check! Wait for water to boil, then reduce heat, cover and cook for 20 mins.
