Spaghetti and Meatballs

Meatballs:
1 pound ground beef
1 large egg , beaten
¼ cup breadcrumbs
¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
Onion flakes
2 tablespoons minced garlic
¾ teaspoon Kosher salt
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
2 tablespoons chopped fresh Italian flat leaf parsley, optional
Sauce:
Large jar of spaghetti sauce
1/4 cup red wine
Directions
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Heat a small amount of olive oil in a cast iron skillet.
In a large bowl, combine the meat, egg, breadcrumbs, cheese, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and parsley, if using.
Use a medium cookie scoop or spoon to scoop the meat mixture. Form into 1 1/2-inch balls and place in the hot skillet.
Roll the meatballs around until a nice crust forms on all sides. Transfer the skillet to the oven.
Bake uncovered 10-12 minutes, or until no longer pink in the middle.
Serve with pasta, sauce, and Parmesan cheese.
