Longhorn Steakhouse Parmesan Chicken Recipe

1 cup breadcrumbs
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (divided)
1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
2 large eggs
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Preheat the oven to 400°F and grease a baking sheet.
Combine breadcrumbs, ½ cup Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Beat eggs in a separate dish.
Coat each chicken breast in eggs and then in the Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture.
Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear chicken for 2-3 minutes per side.
Transfer chicken to the baking sheet, top with remaining Parmesan and provolone/mozzarella. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 400°F.
(Optional) Prepare the cream sauce: Heat heavy cream, stir in Parmesan and garlic powder, and cook until thickened.
Serve the chicken with or without sauce.
