Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

1¾ cups all-purpose flour

½ teaspoon baking powder

⅛ teaspoon baking soda

¼ teaspoon salt

½ cup butter, softened

¼+⅛ cup white sugar

¼ cup brown sugar

1 eggs

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

2 bananas, mashed

1 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350°

Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt, set aside.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar and brown sugar. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla and mashed banana. Mix in the dry ingredients until just blended, then fold in chocolate chips. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheets.

Bake for 15 to 18 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before moving to a wire rack to cool completely.
