Turkey Meatballs and Gravy

2 yellow onion
2 green bell pepper
2lb ground turkey
2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
2.5 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
1 egg (beaten)
Gravy:
1 tablespoon minced garlic (or more)
6 tablespoons salted butter
6-8 tablespoons all purpose flour
3 cups chicken broth (better than bullion chicken + hot water)
Directions
caramelize onions and bell peppers using butter or oil
mix ground turkey, seasonings, breadcrumbs, and beaten egg, roll into meatballs abt 1.5 tablespoons each.
refrigerate meatballs for 15-30 mins if possible
brown the meatballs in a saucepan with some evoo and remove from pan (theyll finish cooking in the gravy)
make roux with butter and flour, then add chicken broth until its thickened a little
add meatballs into pan and cover and cook 5-10 min/until done
