Cut flowers with a clean scissors at 45 degree angle from the plant early in the morning or later in the evening (when there is more moisture in the plant).

Remove all lower leaves from the cut stems.

Cut stems again at a 45 degree angle under water.

Add to jar/vase wtih the preservation solution.

Remove wilted flowers, re-cut the stem of the remaining flowers with a clean scissors under water and change the solution daily.

The flowers will last longer if kept in a cool, dark location for all/some of the time.

Bacteria is the enemy of cut-flowe longevity, so make sure all tools/materials are as clean as possible.
