Lemon Chicken Orzo Bowl

Ingredients

1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-size pieces

Salt and black pepper to taste

1 teaspoon paprika

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 cup orzo pasta

2 cups chicken broth

Zest and juice of 1 large lemon

2 cloves garlic, minced

½ teaspoon dried oregano

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

Season chicken with salt, black pepper, and paprika. (3 minutes)

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside. (6–7 minutes)

In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant. (1 minute)

Add orzo and toast lightly. (2 minutes)

Pour in chicken broth, bring to a gentle simmer, and cook until orzo is tender. (8–10 minutes)

Return chicken to the skillet and stir in lemon zest, lemon juice, and oregano. (2 minutes)

Finish with Parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh parsley before serving. (2 minutes)
