The Most Flavorful Crockpot Roast Ever

Ingredients

3 lbs beef chuck roast, cut into thirds

1/3 cup soy sauce

3 tbsp miso paste

2 tbsp honey

1 tbsp + 1 tsp rice wine vinegar

3 cloves garlic, minced

3 tbsp fresh ginger, finely grated

1 tsp red pepper flakes

Green onions, for garnish

Sesame seeds, for garnish

Optional if cooking in oven:

1 cup beef bone broth

Directions

Place in the slow cooker.

Simply add soy sauce, miso paste, honey or hot honey, rice wine vinegar, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.

Gently coat the meat and mix.

Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours until the beef is fork tender and easily pulls apart.

Shred slightly or slice and spoon the sauce over the top.

Garnish with green onions before serving.

Serve over rice, noodles, or vegetables.
