BIG MAC CASSEROLE WITH BIG MAC SAUCE

Ingredients

2 lbs lean ground beef (0.9 kg)

1 cup chopped onion (250 mL)

1 tbsp dill pickle relish (15 mL)

1 tbsp crushed garlic (15 mL)

2 tsp Worcestershire sauce (10 mL)

1 tsp salt (5 mL)

3/4 tsp seasoning salt (7 mL)

1 tsp black pepper (5 mL)

8 oz cream cheese (250 g)

Egg Mixture:

2 eggs

1/2 cup heavy cream (125 mL)

1/4 tsp salt (1 mL)

2 cups grated Mozzarella, OR Cheddar cheese (500 mL)

Big Mac Sauce:

1/2 cup mayonnaise (125 mL)

2 tbsp dill pickle relish (30 mL)

1 tbsp mustard (15 mL)

1 tbsp sugar-free ketchup (15mL)

11/2 tsp crushed garlic (7 mL)

1/8 tsp onion salt (0.5 mL)

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

In large frying pan, over medium high heat, brown ground beef, while breaking it up with a spatula, along with onion, dill pickle relish and garlic. While cooking the meat mixture, sprinkle with Worcestershire sauce, salt, seasoning salt and black pepper. When beef is cooked and nicely browned, add cream cheese (broken up into pieces) and stir until incorporated. Pour into 9 x 13-inch (23 x 33 cm) baking dish. Pour egg mixture over top and sprinkle with remaining grated cheese. Bake 20 to 25 minutes until cheese has melted. Serve with Big Mac Sauce.

Egg Mixture: In small bowl, beat eggs and stir in 1 cup (250 mL) Mozzarella, OR Cheddar cheese, heavy cream and salt.

Big Mac Sauce: In medium bowl, stir together mayonnaise, dill pickle relish, mustard, sugar-free ketchup, crushed garlic and onion salt.
