Cheese And Garlic Focaccia

Ingredients

4 cups high grade/bread flour

2 cups warm water

2 tablespoons active yeast

2 tablespoons white sugar

2 tablespoons salt

Olive oil

Cheese

Butter (I used 75 grams)

Garlic (I used 15 cloves)

Parsley

Directions

Combine and mix water, yeast and sugar and cover for 10 minutes

Then add flour and salt and mix till combined

Drizzle oil on top and cover for 30-60mins

Wet hands and stretch and fold on top of itself

Then cover again for another 30-60mins

Put butter, minced garlic and chopped parsley in a pot on low heat till melted and combined

Line baking tray and drizzle oil, put dough in tray and stretch so it’s spread, evenly put about 90% of the butter mixture on the dough, then fold on top of itself till you can’t see the mixture and flip over, cover and let rise and fill out pan (about 30-40 minutes)

Drizzle oil on top of dough and fingers to prevent sticking and dimple in the dough

Put in oven at 200 degrees or 392 fahrenheit for 20 minutes, take out and sprinkle some cheese on top and put in for another 10 minutes

Once it’s out of the oven brush/spread the remaining butter mixture on top and enjoy!
