Pan-fried Garlic Tofu

Ingredients

Extra-firm tofu

Garlic

Soy sauce

Green onion

Lemon juice

Brown sugar

Ginger

Water

Oil

How to Make It:

1️⃣ Cut the tofu into ⅓-inch thick triangles and place them in a casserole dish.

Directions

In a bowl, mix all ingredients except the oil to make your marinade. Pour over the tofu and let it sit for at least 2 hours (overnight if you can!). Flip halfway for even flavor.

Heat a sauté pan over high heat and add just enough oil to coat the bottom.

Pan-fry the tofu in a single layer until browned — 2–3 minutes per side.

Pour in the remaining marinade and cook until the tofu darkens slightly, about 45 seconds. Flip and repeat.

Garnish with extra green onion and serve hot.
