Ingredients

2 cups fresh basil

2 garlic cloves

½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

¼ cup olive oil

¼ teaspoon salt

⅛ teaspoon pepper

Directions

Wash the basil and remove the stems.

Place all the ingredients in a food processor and pulse until you have reached desired consistency.

Serve over pasta, pizza, chicken or veggies. This sauce can also be used as a marinade.

Notes

Can freeze or refrigerate (lasts about a week)

Can blanch leaves to prevent browning, although browning is normal
