Ingredients

2 cups flour

1 tsp baking powder

½ tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

1 tsp cinnamon

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

½ cup honey 🍯

½ cup brown sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ cup milk

Honeycomb Candy Topping (optional but highly recommended! 🍬🐝)

1 cup sugar

¼ cup honey

2 tbsp water

1 ½ tsp baking soda

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your beehive mold. 🏡🐝

Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. In another, cream butter, honey, and brown sugar until fluffy.

Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.

Alternate adding flour mixture and milk, stirring until combined.

Pour batter into mold, bake for 20-25 min, or until golden.

For the honeycomb candy: heat sugar, honey, and water in a saucepan until golden. Quickly stir in baking soda, then pour onto parchment to cool. Break into shards.

Top cakes with honeycomb candy & drizzle extra honey! 🍯✨
