The Italian word for meatballs is “polpette”.
Everything shaped in a ball is a polpetta. The essential ingredients is bread more than meat. This open to endless possibilities today I’m going for the most classic recipe:
500g ground beef
3 eggs
100g parmigiano
200g breadcrumbs
Salt, pepper and parsley to taste
My twist is a drop of milk
Directions
Mix all together in a bowl
No frying needed. 20 mins in a pan if sauce
