Ingredients

1 lb minced pork

½ cup shredded carrot

¼ cup finely chopped green onion

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tsp sesame oil

20–24 dumpling wrappers

2–3 tbsp chili oil

1 tbsp black vinegar (optional)

Sesame seeds for garnish

Directions

In a bowl, combine ground pork, shredded carrot, green onion, garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix until combined.

Shape mixture into small compact balls.

Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly oil.

Sear pork balls until lightly browned on the bottom.

Place one dumpling wrapper over each pork ball and gently press.

Add a small splash of water to the pan and cover.

Steam until wrappers soften and pork is fully cooked.

Drizzle with chili oil and garnish before serving.
