Sausage Balls

Breakfast sausage

Bisquick mix

Sharp cheddar cheese

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

In a large bowl, combine the sausage, Bisquick mix, and sharp cheddar cheese.

Mix until everything is well incorporated.

  • The mixture should not be too dry and not overly greasy.

  • Adjust by adding Bisquick a little at a time if needed.

Roll the mixture into bite-sized balls and place them on a baking sheet.

Bake for 20–30 minutes.

Start checking around 25 minutes. The outside should be lightly browned.

To test doneness, open one:

  • If it’s pink inside, it needs more time.

  • If fully cooked through, it’s ready.

Notes

This is a “play it by ear” recipe—texture matters more than exact measurements.

You don’t want them bread-like, but you also don’t want greasy sausage balls.
