Millions of you have loved my baked oats recipes, so here’s one that I recently rediscovered and I am so glad that I did!
These oats taste just like apple pie and have quickly become my go-to breakfast. Warm, comforting, high-protein, and so easy to prep.
What you’ll need (per serve):
40g rolled oats
50g ripe banana
10g chia seeds
20g vanilla protein powder
150ml almond milk
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp cinnamon
100g apple (diced or grated)
To serve:
100g Greek yogurt
10g maple syrup
Directions
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
In an oven-safe bowl or ramekin, mash the banana, then add the oats, chia seeds, protein powder, almond milk, baking powder, cinnamon, and apple.
Mix everything thoroughly with a fork, making sure there are no lumps (especially the protein powder and chia).
Sprinkle with a little extra cinnamon on top.
Bake for 30 minutes, or until golden and set in the middle.
Let cool slightly before adding your toppings.
Top with Greek yogurt and maple syrup — or get creative with your own favourite toppings!
