Chicken, garlic, mushrooms, and Marsala wine make for a slow cooker dinner that is simple but tasty! Mar- sala is a white wine fortified with brandy, and it brings an amazing flavor to this tender chicken. Most of the alcohol cooks off during the slow-cooking process; however, if you want to make this nonalcoholic, you can use ¾ cup (175 ml) white grape juice and ¼ cup (60 ml) sherry vinegar.
NOTES: Serve the chicken and sauce over egg noodles, mashed potatoes, or rice.
