Garlic Bread

Ingredients

1 loaf french bread (or ciabatta)

1 stick salted butter (1/2 cup, cut into pieces)

4 cloves garlic (grated or minced)

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

3/4 cup Parmesan cheese (grated and divided)

2 Tablespoons fresh parsley (minced, plus more for garnish)

Directions

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Soften the butter in the microwave in short increments.

Add the garlic, garlic powder, half the Parmesan, and parsley and stir to combine.

Cut the bread in half and spread with a thick layer of the butter mixture.

Set the bread buttered side up on a rimmed sheet pan and sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese.

Bake for 9-10 minutes. Add an extra 1-2 minutes if you want for more browning.

Garnish with parsley, slice and serve.
