Ingredients

Dressing

  • ½ cup mayonnaise

  • 1 medium garlic clove, minced

  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice, to taste

  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, to taste

  • ⅛ teaspoon fine salt

  • ⅓ cup (1 ounce) finely grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tablespoon water

  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Croutons

  • French bread

  • Olive oil

  • (Oregano, rosemary, thyme)

  • (Parmesan cheese)

Salad

  • Romaine lettuce

  • Shaved parmesan

  • (Chicken breast)

  • (Boiled eggs)

Directions

Dressing

  1. Combine the mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and stir to combine

  2. Stir in the Parmesan, followed by the water

  3. Season generously with black pepper, to taste

Notes

For a more bold dressing, add another ¼ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, or for a more zippy dressing, add up to 1 teaspoon additional lemon juice.

STORAGE SUGGESTIONS: Leftover dressing will keep well in the refrigerator, covered, for up to 5 days.
