Laurie Taylor's Bread Pudding

Ingredients

3 c. Milk

1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp. salt

3 c. bread (cubed, dried bread)

1/2 c. brown sugar

½ c. raisins

1 tsp vanilla

3 eggs

Directions

Heat 3 Cups of milk to scald

Combine the dry ingredients (cinnamon, salt, bread, brown sugar, raisins).

Add scalded milk and 1 tsp. of vanilla to combined dry ingredients.

In separate bowl, beat 3 eggs slightly. Slowly pour mix onto eggs and mix in. Then pour into greased casserole dish. Set in pan of hot water and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until knife comes out clean.

Notes

If you don't like to eat bread crusts, just throw into freezer and when you have enough, you can make this recipe.
