Buttermilk Ranch Dressing

Ingredients

1/2 cup buttermilk

1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt

1/4 cup sour cream

1/2 teaspoon dried dill

1/2 teaspoon dried parsley

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste)

Directions

Whisk together buttermilk, Greek yogurt, sour cream, dill, parsley, garlic powder, salt and pepper, to taste, in a small bowl.

Notes from Rachel:

I never have buttermilk on hand. You can make your own by mixing 1 cup of milk with 1 Tbsp white vinegar or fresh squeezed lime juice and letting it sit for 10 minutes to sour the milk.

I frequently skip the sour cream and add extra yogurt or swap the sour cream for mayo.

To give it a more smoky and southwest flavor, I add a spoonful of minced chipotle in adobo.
