Slow Cooker Creamy Ranch Beef Tortellini
A rich, cheesy, ultra-creamy slow cooker pasta dish loaded with ground beef, ranch seasoning, Alfredo sauce, and tender cheese tortellini. Pure comfort food with minimal effort!
Ingredients
Beef Mixture
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp black pepper
Sauce Base
1 packet ranch seasoning mix
1 jar (24 oz) Alfredo sauce
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
1 cup beef broth
Pasta & Cheese
1 bag (20 oz) frozen cheese tortellini
1½ cups shredded mozzarella
½ cup shredded cheddar(optional, for richer flavor)
Garnish
Dried parsley or fresh chopped parsley
Instructions
1. Brown the Beef
Cook ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease. Season with garlic powder and pepper.
2. Make the Creamy Sauce
In the slow cooker, whisk together Alfredo sauce, condensed soup, beef broth, and ranch seasoning until smooth.
3. Add in the Beef
Stir the cooked beef mixture into the slow cooker sauce.
4. Add the Tortellini
Pour in frozen tortellini. Gently mix so all pasta is coated.
5. Slow Cook
LOW: 3–4 hours
HIGH: 1½–2 hours
Cook until tortellini are tender but not mushy.
6. Melt the Cheese
Stir in mozzarella (and cheddar if using). Cover and cook an additional 5–10 minutes until melty and creamy.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with garlic bread, buttery rolls, or a simple green salad.
Add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for heat.
Top with crispy bacon bits for extra flavor.
Mix in steamed broccoli or peas for a full one-pot meal.
Serve in bowls topped with freshly grated Parmesan.
