Ingredients

12 ounces fettuccine

1 pound ground beef

1 tablespoon olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

2 cups milk

1/2 cup heavy cream

1 1/2 cups shredded provolone cheese

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons chopped parsley, optional

Directions

Cook the fettuccine according to package directions until tender, about 10 to 12 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook for 6 to 8 minutes until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess grease if needed.

Stir in the garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1 minute. Slowly whisk in the milk and heavy cream, then cook for 3 to 4 minutes until slightly thickened.

Stir in the provolone and parmesan cheese until melted and smooth, about 2 minutes.

Add the cooked fettuccine and seasoned beef to the sauce. Toss everything together until well coated and heated through, about 2 minutes.

Sprinkle with parsley if desired and serve hot. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
