Creamy Chicken Sausage Pasta: 30 Min Miracle

Ingredients

1 pound chicken sausage, sliced

8 ounces pasta (penne, rotini, or farfalle)

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Salt and black pepper to taste

  • Add broccoli or other veggies to bulk!

Directions

Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain, reserving about 1/2 cup of pasta water.

While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add sliced chicken sausage and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.

Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.

Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.

Add cooked pasta to the skillet with the sauce.

Toss to coat the pasta evenly. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached.

Stir in fresh parsley.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve immediately.
