White Cream Cake

1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 cup sweet cream
1 1/2 cups sifted flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
Directions
Beat eggs until light. Add cream, sugar and vanilla. Sift flour with baking powder and salt. Add to first mixture. Bake at 350 for 30–35 minutes in loaf pan 8x8x2.
Notes
This makes a quick cake, for shortcake or with fresh fruit and whipped cream.
