Ingredients

1 large egg, lightly beaten

1 (14-oz.) can salmon, drained

1/2 c. panko bread crumbs

1 clove garlic, finely chopped

Zest of 1 lemon

2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice

2 tbsp. chopped fresh dill

1 tbsp. Dijon mustard

1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes

Kosher salt

Freshly ground black pepper

1 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil

4 hamburger buns

Butter lettuce leaves, tomato slices, red onion slices, and mayonnaise, for serving

Directions

In a large bowl, combine egg, salmon, bread crumbs, garlic, lemon zest and juice, dill, Dijon, Worcestershire, and red pepper flakes; season with salt and black pepper. Form salmon mixture into 4 patties.

In a large skillet over medium-high, heat oil. Cook patties, turning halfway through, until browned and cooked through, about 4 minutes per side.

Place a burger on bottom buns. Top with lettuce, tomatoes, and onion. Spread cut sides of top buns with mayonnaise and close burgers.
