Hot Honey Chicken

For the brine:
4 chicken breasts, cut into even sized pieces (mine were the size of my palm and I made about 8 pieces)
2 teaspoons Creole seasoning
2 teaspoons garlic herb seasoning
1 1/2 cups butter milk
1/2 cup pickle juice
2 tbsp hot sauce
1 egg
Directions
Mix and cover, let marinate overnight or minimum 30 minutes.
Dry Batter:
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 cups cornstarch
1 tbsp Creole seasoning
1 1/2 tbsp garlic herb seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
Deep fry at 375 F for 10-12 minutes
For the hot honey sauce
1 stick unsalted butter
1/4 cup buffalo sauce (or more to taste)
1/4 cup honey (or more to taste)
Serve with brioche buns and @popeyes blackened ranch now sold in stores!
