Red Wine Spaghetti

2 cups red wine
16oz Spaghetti or Linguini Noodles
Olive Oil
4 Garlic Cloves, minced
2 Tbsp Italian Seasoning or (Back 9 Birdie Blend)
2 Tbsp Butter
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
2 Tbsp Heavy Cream
1 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
Basil Leaves, chopped
Bring salted water and one and half cups of red wine to a boil.
Once boiling, add pasta and cook for 4ish minutes. Don’t overcook the noodles as they will continue to cook throughout the process.
Directions
In a large pan, heat olive oil, add garlic and Italian seasoning. Cook on medium for 5 minutes.
Once the noodles have been boiling for 4ish minutes add them directly to the oil pan and combine. Add butter, the remaining 1/2 cup of red wine and cream. Tossing until creamy and wine is absorbed. If you feel the pasta is getting dry, add in the pasta/wine water little by little. Add cheese and basil and toss until the wine sauce thickens.
Serve with additional parmesan and basil on top. Enjoy!
